Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Al moved to NYC and began work in sales with IBM, Time Life and then the Museum of Natural History. Ever entrepreneurial, he then opened 2 pub/restaurants on the Upper East Side in the 1970s. In1983 Al relocated to Key West Florida, where he began his real estate career. During a 16 year span he worked with top nationally known companies there, who continually commended him for his top listing and sales abilities and high ethical standards. Al also served several terms on the Realtors Board of Ethics, while in the Keys!
Present: Relocating to cool, uncrowded "downeast" Maine in 2001, Al and his wife Denise purchased Due East from the founding owner. It has been a dream come true for the couple opening the Lubec office in May of 2003, Eastport in Dec. 2003, and Calais in May 2008. They are proud of Due East's achievements and their entire roster of agents and staff.
