Libby Kirwin lives in Newport, RI where she was born and raised. Before deciding to settle in Newport, Libby explored several careers throughout New England, Florida and the Caribbean. In 1996, Kirwin graduated from Massachusetts College of Art with a degree in graphic design. After graduation she worked in the Boston real estate market through 2000. For the following 2 years she worked as a crew placement manager & broker’s assistant in the mega-yacht sales department for International Yacht Collection, traveling in Florida and the Caribbean. In 2002 Kirwin used her graphic design & travel experience to create Jack and Josie’s Coffee Lounge in Newport. After deciding to sell the restaurant Kirwin returned to real estate full time.
Currently she works in Newport as a Realtor where she uses her knowledge of property management, home sales and rentals, combined with professionalism and a passion for working with people to suit all her clients needs. She understands the responsibilities of landlords and homeowners regarding property management and is currently managing over 45 Aquidneck Island properties for out of state homeowners. She is currently working on 6 pending this month alone and looking forward to closing over $5 Million in sales during the last quater of 2009.
